On the 3rd of November, 2009 Professor of the University for Agriculture and Economics (Kiel, Germany) Ulrich Koester visited Science and Methodology Centre for Agricultural Education (Kiev, Ukraine) in order to meet with the Director of SMC Mykola Khomenko. Researcher of SMC and coordinator of international relations Ekaterina Buglak attended the meeting as well.

Traditionally every two years in the German city of Hanover the biggest international exhibition of agricultural machinery and products “AGRITECHNICA” is hold, where innovations from all around the world are demonstrated.

         In order to extend international relations and find an optimum in cooperation between the SMC for Agricultural Education, which acts under the Ministry of Agraricultural Policy of Ukraine, and German Agrarian Center (the GAC) an official meeting took place on 5 November 2009 at the SMC.

Since Ukraine has signed the Bologna Declaration (2005), Ukrainian educational community lives up to the Bologna process.
Despite some differences in key positions of the Bologna Declaration, relating to, first of all, the three-cycle system of higher education, a national qualifications framework, the introduction of modular technology based on transferring credits, Ukraine is interested in building the European system of higher education based on common fundamental operational principles.

October 11, 2010 on the basis of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine the “round table” on Ukrainian-Canadian cooperation was held.

Participants from the delegation of Canada were members of PRAIRIE AGRICULTURE UNIVERSITIES CONSORTIUM (Canadian mission in Ukraine)

13.September, 2010 in frameworks of the visit to Ukraine of the delegation from UNIVERSITY OF NATURAL RESOURCES AND LIFE SCIENCES, VIENNA (BOKU, Vienna) at Science and Methodology Centre for Agricultural Education the round-table meeting was held.
